Just back from our trip to Ireland. What a holiday,
met all our friends and families in Shannon, Durty Nellies, Limerick, Dingle and Dublin. Eileen sang a few songs at a session at Mick O'Neills pub in Camp
where we met a lot of old friends, in particular Michael Dorgan and Tom Flahive. I hadn't met Tom in over 40 years, he hasn't aged a bit. Afterwards we went back to Michael's house where his lovely wife
Maura supplied us with sandwiches and tea, Christmas pudding and of course beer. Michael pulled down an old accordion and needless to say
the session continued until the small wee hours of the morning. Thanks Michael.
The picture you see at the top of each web page I took from O'Connel's Bridge in Dublin as the sun was setting.
Eileen's brother Gerry, his wife Sabina and son Simeon flew in from Germany and we all had a great Christmas at Eileen's mom's home
in Shannon. On Jan 1, 2009 my daughter Yvonne and her husband Randy flew in from Germany with their daughters Sophia and Dakota for Dakota's christening. WOW was it strange to hear "GRAMPA". I'm not ready for that yet.
What a great time we all had. You can see all the pics of our trip Here.
When we got back Eileen got a very serious bout of the 'flu and the doctors wanted to hospitalize her. But being the stubborn Irish woman she is, she battled bravely through it.
I am sick of tea and toast after her ten days in bed. Eileen, please get well soon, I need real food.!!! Unfortunately we had to cancel out gig at Little Joe's
but they were very understanding....I love that Sue....and they make the best pizza anywhere not to mention all their Italian food.
We are looking forward to being back there in February. Check out our gig page for all the latest.
That's it for now folks

We are looking forward to Little Joe's St. Patrick's night gig in New Lenox on March 14, from 6pm to 10pm. Especially, as we will
be having visitors from Germany who have never seen an Irish St. pat's day in the US. Please join us for a great night of Irish music
and whatever else may happen.
